ill sell you my 2000 a4 stage 3+ car after i do the valves and timing belt for 14k..lol..
might just be drunk but i have thought about selling her after i fix the valves.. or i should say valve

13900 is very high. carmax is a rip off. unless of course the car is in mint condition with unusually low miles and has a warranty then maybe. have u looked at kelley blue book, nada etc? i do not think $13900 is even in the range.

i was thinking about selling my 99.5 A4 for around 9, new head etc. and I dont know if I can even get that.

there are a couple 99's at local dealers that are going for under 10k.

I will never deal w/carmax again, learned my lesson the first and last time.

 

sorry i thought it was a 1.8. the price is a little high but not as much as i thought. 44k is fairly low mileage if it is true.
however you will be limited on mods with a 2.8 if that is what you are looking to do.

 

I know 4 people that bought cars from carmax and all for of them had nothing but problems with their cars, and all the cars problems started in the first year they owned it.

 

I wouldn't even consider that particular car. 13900 for a '99? thats crazy. I would not buy from carmax as they do not move on their prices. I made the mistake of buying a car from them a few years and needless to say, I would never buy from them again...... to put things in prospective, April '06, I bought my '01 with 50k miled onherfrom Laurel Audi in Westmont... they origionally wanted 14 somthing, and i went out the door for 13k even.There are plenty of B5's for sale in the Chicagoland area..........

Yeah, i've hear a lot from people that CarMax doesn't really check their vehicles, but still if would have eonugh time will go there to see what's going on.

 

not too bad for an '03..... I dont know about the ground effects or the rims, but that is a decent price for an '03when you check it out, I would inquire about service history and whatnot i.e. Timing belt.....
