really dumb question, but does ESP or not having ESP affective the performance of a chip and also what is EPC or something lie kthat

 

well newer a4's have a button to turn it on and off. older a4s its always on. i forget what epc stands for but mine would come on if i went on and off boost quickly with a heavy load on the motor. ie going up a mountian pass at 85 in 5th gear. if igot off boost then back on sometimes that light would come on.

 

ESP= electronic stabilty program

 

EPC - electronic power control, that means you don't have a throttle linkage, its drive-by-wire.

 

but say ESP will have nothing to do with my car gettin chipped, i kno when i got my car chipped i checked it had ESP by mistake, that wont effect the power of my chip if i actully dont have ESP?
