hey everyone im new to this site and i'm in the market for a audi a41.8t.
im wondering if this would be a good choice as a first car for my son.
Also would this car be a good deal for around 6,000?

I think that car looks good for 6k. Its not perfect and you will need to fix/replace a few things, but at that price its worth it. I don't see it listed in the ad, but I think that car has the sport package (sport suspension and wheels). Its good that it just had the timing belt done because that is an expensive job. If you live close enough, try to go for a test drive.
Audis can be a little more expensive to maintain and its harder to find a good shop to do the work. Some regular mechanics won't work on them or don't have the equipment to work on them, forcing you to go to a dealer or a mechanic that specializes in german cars. Example, I took my car for an alignment at the Goodyear store accross the street figuring any shop could do it and they told me that I had to go to a dealer to get it done because they couldn't overide the electronic suspension or something. Just be aware that this car won't be as easy or as cheap to own as say a Honda.
