Hope someone can help me.

My Air-Con compressor has packed in and I am looking to buy a used replacement.

The part number is 8DO 260 805D.

My question is.....
Do I need the exact same compressor or can I fit a different one?

There are loads on ebay that say will fit Audi's but only a few with that part number.

Any advice would be appreciated.
