Hi guys. I've just bought a silver audi a4 2.4 v6 cabriolet (registered nov 2002). I wish to purchase some S4 accessories but I don't know how easily these can be fit.

I want to order;

-S4 Front Grill (would my old grill just screw out and the new one screw in?)
-S4 Front bumper grill (I don't know if i need to take off the whole front bumper or if I need to get under the car to take off the bumper grill?)
-S4 Aluminium wing mirror cases (I have no idea about how the current ones would be taken off and these put on)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

I should also mention that the s4 parts are specifically for the s4 cabriolet

 

I've ordered the grill and lower bumper grill (but i've not bought the aluminium wing mirrors because my car is silver so it won't be seen).

There must have been some body with an A4 Cab who has fitted an s4 cab grill?????

My parts came and the fitting was really simple. The lower bumper grill just slots out (it needs jimmying with a flat head screwdriver) and the s4 one slots straight back in. I've read before that the lower bumper grill for the S4 was bigger than the standard but its not the case. The front grill just needs unscrewing and replacing. All in all, a 5 minute job and now my cabriolet looks far more aggressive.

 

be sure to take some pics of it before and after so we can see the results. I guess not many people have a4 cabs. Im guessing if you buy that car the people who have them dont really mod them.

 

not a whole lot of cabrio people around the forum... which would explain why there arent responces.. typically people that buy the cabrio dont do anything to their car... and they just take it to the dealer when something goes wrong

so we never hear from them

Thanx for the comments guys. My Audi is looking and driving beautifully, I got the 18" Nuvolari rims fitted and now it looks like a beast. Also, silver was definately the right colour to go for as it makes the car look big aswell as making it look bling at night. I took it for a cruise around the city centre last night which felt great.

I am definately going to put some pictures up but i'm just waiting to geta charger for my camera. pics should be up by end of the week.

I'm not a huge fan of the Cabriolet's but your looks really good. Silver is definatly the color in my opinion. Show us some more pictures when you start modding.

 

thanks. i'm very happy with the colour (i was thinking black or red) but silver brings out the proportions of the car perfectly. As for exterior mods, i'm probably going to debadge it and put on some s4 wing aluminium wingmirrors
