A4 with 240km?
sounds good, just watch out for wheel bearings, t-belt, and control arms, these eventually need replaceing around this time. but my first A4 was a green 96 quattro with 145k on it i got it for 4000 and along with it i got it fully loaded, S4 rims, previous owner swapped the suspension for sports models. sadly that car is gone RIP. had it for 8 months and drove it only 6 days , my buddy drove it more than i did.
mine is 146k miles and its fine just the usual: brakes, control arms, barings... still runs very strong, i am about to do a timing belt change but i still cannot afford it.... i would deff go for it... tell the guy that it needs a timing belt change and have him drop it 500 bucks and just buy it....congrads

Looked at it again and the body needed a lot of work. Came back to the shop and the guy was replacing the power steering fluid pump - didnt mention this needed to be done when I test drove it, and I guess I didnt hear it as I was too excited by the sweet deal. Doing to wait some time and spend 8-9k for a newer model with hopefully fewer problems.
