Hi All,

I am new here and would like some help making my decision. I have been looking at 02' and 03' A4 Quattros. I am leaning toward an 03' A4 3.0 6-spd with sports package or a similar 02' with 1.8t. Stock the 3.0 is about 40hp stronger than the 1.8t. It seems that you really need to chip the 1.8t to get real performance out of it. Please correct me if I am wrong. I am looking for this car to be my daily driver and I need to it to be reliable, but it has to be fun too. If you were going to keep your car mostly stock, which would you buy?

Please search. This topic comes up almost on a weekly basis. If you are into modding then get a 1.8t, if you want out of the box fun then the 2.8 or 3.0 is the way to go.
