I`m interested in purchasing an A4 w/either of the above mentioned setups. Unfortunately i have a wife and must purchase an auto tranny. I guess my question is wich one of these would allow me to have fun when the other less insane half is elsewhere. I know that the fwd is faster but it is still a fwd. The quatro is slower but awd, wich should stick to the pavement even in inclement weather.

CVT does that hold up, cause i`m 23 and can not afford to buy a money pit.
I`m also considering volvo s60 t5 and the infiniti g35.

 

awd is nice you can take the turns like crazy, when the car gets goin u wont really notice the weight of Awd

 

i own a AWD and i agree with panda...once i get going dont notice anything except the best handling in the market..
