Default A4 - 3 questions

Hello everyone.
I recently purchased a '98 Audi A4 1.8T Quat. It's an automatic. I have 3 questions:

1. Any ideas on how to hang a license plate on the front bumper? I'd prefer to not drill into it.

2. Is it possible to replace my existing headlights with Xenon bulbs and the round/Euro reflectors? I like the added brightness of the Xenons and would like to get rid of the 'dated' look that I currently have. I'd like a look similiar to the newer A4s.

3. What's the easiest/cheapest way to get a bit more poop/HP out of the '98? Is it worth doing since the car is an automatic?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
D.

1. I didn't want to drill so I hang my license plate using rare earth magnets. I apoxied them to the inside of the bumper skin. If you search for rare earth magnets, you can see some pics of my job.

2. You can replace your headlights with E-codes (euro ones with no orange). It will require a little bit of bumper cutting though to get rid of a lip on the inside. It's not too bad of a job. You can't just replace the light bulbs with xenon bulbs. Real xenon requires bulbs/ballasts/ignitors.

3. Chip your car and replace the Diverter valve. Do a search for this. There is a TON of information.

Welcome to the forum btw.

What he said

To elaborate, yes, even with an automatic, it's still worth it, very much (mine's an auto). The chip alone knocked a whole second of my 1/4 mi ET. VERY worthy investment.
