Question A4 Audi, 2011

Morning,

OK, our first Audi, certified pre-owned, 2011 a few months back.

Love the vehicle. A few small things, nothing big. But a question.

Before the really cold weather gets here...we noticed a slight pulsation in warm weather when applying the brakes on a long downhill grade. Anyone else or ideas?

Basically I'm not a mechanical dummy but the "parking brake" operation doesn't allow me to do my usually trick of using the parking/emergency brake to determine if the problem is the front or rear brakes.

Being certified pre-owned the front pads were replaced by Audi when we purchased the Audi a couple months back.

Might have a slightly warped rotor. If the pads aren't wearing uneven it is probably nothing to be worried about. Since it is a CPO take it to the dealer and have them check it out just to be safe.

Default Thanks, I had been wondering...

I was fairly sure of that myself...just checking the forum to see if there was any particular "brake difficulty" with the Audis that I was unaware of. Other than a few little things we really like the A4.

In fact if the dealer were more local we'd trade the Subaru Forester for the comarable Audi.
