Hi all,

When I bought the Audi it came with chrome halo's, they do look cool, but I think they could look better, the finish isn't that good on the sides and I can live without halo's coz I'll prob get HID, thats cool enough. I like the currenthalo'sin the way they taper front to back; high beam, low then indicator. I also like the headlights that are bright chrome and clear bitlike this;

Seems the e-code design is popular, but I'm not sure whether to purchase a two piece type or a one piece (my Audiis 1998)lltek seem to think the two peice is better http://www.lltek.com/lighting_a4_b5_ecode_9699.htmbut do some people still think it's better to go with one piece and do the fender mods etc?

 

I like the one peice. I dont know what the benifits of either are but i like the one peice.

 

Heat sharing, is a good thing for the one piece! My 2 cents!

2 PIECE ALL THE WAY dont have to cut your fender anddont worry,theAngel Eyes are connected to my now unused foglight switch so they dont have to be on when the headlights are... hate regular ecodeseveryone and there mom has them...


BTW mine came with brackets to directly bolt on an HID kit, got 6000k's right now and they look perfect

there from FK in Germany they are sold by a couple differnt companies on ebay and im pretty sure after all the shopping i did that ebay has the best deal on themthey all come from germany so shipping blows but its cool its still cheaper than the ones that are already in America. One place i saw was charging something like 329+ shipping.they do make one piece versions as well but the 2 piece look awesome! Ipaid $320 for them and got themin about 2 weeks.


^ I dont know about you but i have never seen acar that looks good in black headlights. Its up to you but chrome always looks better IMO

 

the difference between the 2 or 1 piece IMO would not be major as some makeout when there actually fitted to the car, but I am willing to mod the fender so I'll probly go with a 1 piece for the cleaner look.
