Hi guys.

I have an Audi A4 B8 1.8 tfsi, with 172.000 kilometers on it. The EPC light came on, i drove it for about 1 week without anything happening, then one morning the car would not start, i got it towed to a mechanic and they did a big service on it. Then the car would start, but idle bad and engine light is on and epc light is on. what to do now? The mechanincs thinks I should replace the chain and valves, but that would be so expensive, i could just replace the whole motor..
