Is this an A4 bug or the way it should be?
Heya!
A week into my A4 ownership and I have been trying to figure out if something in my car is a bug or the way it should be.
I have the 07 A4 Cab 3.2 Quattro SLine with Bluetooth and Sirius. No Nav, so, no screen.
On the steering wheel, the left side has a dial that you can scroll and push. Right now in phone it works perfect. Scroll through my list and push it when I want to make a call.
On the FM and Sirius side, pushing and scrolling do the exact same thing. Scans through every station. Not my presets. Every station. Living in California you can imagine how frustrating that is.
I have been getting the run around on this. The manual says it scans through channels. However, a few after market shops have told me this is a bug. I can take the car into the shop for reprogramming or a new head unit. I also cannot change the button options with Vag-Com.
However, two dealerships have no idea what I am talking about concerning stereo problems.
I know the fact thats its a cab has limited some of my features. Voice dialing for example does not work on the cab. Maybe I am simply stuck with this dial in this mode.
I am wondering if anyone happens to have a configuration close to mine. If you do, does your dial do the same thing? Or, has someone heard of this bug, and, if you have, who the heck knows enough about it so I can get that information?
