Hi - new to the forum so apologies if this breaks protocol! I have a 03 a4 convertible and the radio (symphony 2) has stopped recieving reception. I have tried to find the antenna but to no end. I presume this is why the damn things not working. I have read of a diversity antenna in the boot on some websites but am unsure if my '03 has this. Any help would be very much appreciated.

On the cabriolets the trunk/boot lid is made of plastic and the antenna is built into it. The 4 door car has an antenna that looks like a fin above the rear window.

 

Thanks for your reply - any ideas of how to fix the connection between the aerial and radio?

 

pull the radio out and check the connection on the back.
