Default A4 Excessive Oil Consumption

Our 07, A4 2.0T is consuming oil at about 1 qt per 5000 miles. This is our third A4 and this is the only one that is having this problem
Is this normal? Why is it happening?

The PCV valve is bad, there is a TSB out there for certain models. If there isn't change the PCV valve with the updated one anyway.

Thanks Auditech79, Just finished looking at old posts. It appears the PCV needs to be replaced.
Dumb question,
Where is the PCV on an 07 A4 2.0T ???
I feel like an idiot asking this. The car is not at home at the moment.

Should be right there on the plastic intake manifold.

We contacted the Audi Dealer. He said he knew about the PCV problem but said Audi does not have the PCVproblem fixed yet. He said the replacement PCV will not solve the problem. Audi is still having problems with the PCV.
Is this true or are we getting a line of BS from him.

Sounds like an idiot to me. First he says its normal, then he says he knows about the PCV problem? Just buy a new valve and see what happens.

Can you get the PCV valve at the local NAPA? or is it an Audi special?

Thanks for all your help.

Call the Audi parts guy and asked for a new PCV for our 07 A4 2.0T he said it doesn't have one.
How are we to replace it if it doesn't have exist?

Anyone have a picture of where the PCV valve is?
I am not sure what I am looking at.
Been building GM muscle cars for years but this Audi is all greek to me.
