today something really weird happened i went to put gas and my car was on empty but it wasnt taking in any. it was really strange. the pump would stop as soon as i would press it and when it would finally go steady the gas would all of a sudden burst out. when i looked under my car i noticed the exhaust tips were wet idk what this means it was really strange. can anyone help me out ?

 

gas tank could have had an air lock which is normal but gas from the exhaust ( was it gas or water )

 

Have you tried another pump / gas station?

Haven't heard of this before.

Shine a flashlight down the fuel pipe, and see if there is anything obstructing it. (try not to breathe to deeply, or you may find yourself hallucinating!) Maybe someone shoved something in there to f*uck with your car or something.

If there is nothing in there, try another gas pump somewhere else and see if it does the same thing.

Are you sure your gas gauge is accurate?
