Just to show you guys some of the custom subtle touches I added to the A4.
Bought this from the parts department at the dealer for $150.
When I first brought her home, she waslooking real weak with that ugly *** California style panel.
Quick sand down, epoxy primered and shot base coat then clear coat. Viola!
Before.......Here'sthe weak looking Exhaust Valence panel
After Sanding, Epoxy primer, Base/Clear
Before the H&R springs, notice the nose bleed. [&:]
After the suspension treatment

I just ordered paint to do the same thing to mine. Although I"m not sure if I should do the filler plate or not...Car is Quartz gray met so it would look very noticeable....I'm doing the valence though probably in the next couple of weeks, once the paint comes in.

Where in Palm Beach do you live? My parents have a house in PB Gardens. I love it down there. I live in Macon now though. Doing the weather for Fox24.

If I may make a suggestion, I say definitely base/clear your filler panel with quartz metallic grey, you wont regret it! I think all the Audi's should come paintedfrom the factory. The car looks so more uniform in my opinion. My pictures make it hard to appreciate, you really have to see it in person.
Just be careful when removing your chrome strips from the panel, they pop out by using a tiny flathead screwdriver. Dont apply too much force, they will pop out eventually.
I reside in Boca Raton. PB Gardens is nice, I havent been up the way in quite awhile.
Post up pics when your finished with your project.

It is currently in the makeover process. I had accident in it May of 2006 where the hood came flying up on the interstate and caused $7k in damages.
This is pretty much the current state. Ive added $22k in upgrades and mods to her since the accident including a Balanced in Blueprinted 355cid 475hp small block Chevrolet. It's been a pain in the ***, but fun aswell.
