The headliner is bubbling (coming down) above the back seats of my 2000 Audi A4. Does anyone know where I can get the fabric to replace it with? I talked to an upholstry guy, he said he cant just glue it back up as it is b/c the glue will run through, but if I can manage to track down the fabric for it he can pull the whole headliner out, scrap the fabric, and replace it.

PS if it matters, my interior is the blue/cream color combo (meaning the headliner color is a light tan/cream)

 

well if you would have said it was grey i could have helped you out cuz i got a complete brand new headliner sitting in its box, in my search for headliners i couldnt fine fabric and found you had to buy the entire piece

 

me neither when I did my interior swap from beige to black I just had it completly redone but now it is a different material and kinda looks bad I will probley end up buying a new one eventually

 

buy some black suede....that should look decent.

how much does the full headliner piece go for? And how much does suede cost?

If you all did suede instead, what color would you get it in to go with the blue/cream interior? here's a picture of my interior:

note: i'll be putting my car up for sale after i get this taken care of so it has to be something presentable to buyers, not me.

i just redid my door panels for my b5 in black suede and it only costed my 17 bucks for a piece thas 1 yard by 60 inches and my glue was only 5 bucks but i needed 2 tubes

 

for the headliner i would need 5 yards by 60 inches so thatd be $85, which is actually pretty expensive but it's doable. Thanks for the info that really helps. I have a guy that will put it in for me and for the headliner and pillars he'll charge me around $200. So that's $285. The question now is.. does a new full headliner piece cost less than $285?
