A4 questions
Hi Folks
Been an Audi fan for more years than I care to remember and always had saloon Quattros (80, 90, 90, and A6)
Now heavily into m/bikes so the cars took a back seat in terms of toys.
Found we couldn't live without an Audi in the garage though so after selling the A6 to my neighbour (he better look after it) and running the missus' Ford Escort I couldn't put up with the rattles anymore.
I found a niceish '95 A4 with 118,000 on the clock.
Seems OK at the moment and as I bought it from a mates garage it'll go back if I get any nasty surprises!
Didn't find anything in particular this weekend as I fitted the Laserline alarm and tapped it into the central locking down by the drivers kick trim. Did find that the OE ultrasonics conflicted with the Laserline ones causing false alrms so they weren't fitted.
The car was a bit of an impulse buy and seems to drive well enough.
Any advice grateful.

Thanks to all who have answered so far
Here's a little more info.
It's a naturally aspirated 1.8 petrol manual 4 door saloon with 2 WD and 118,000 miles on the clock.
Service history is complete, though not Audi, and the timing belt was done at 68,000 miles.
It has the basic dash without the autocheck display so no problems with missing pixcels (my A6 Quattro had that problem)
Phone kit and alarm fitted this weekend, as I mentioned earlier, and no surprises whilst I had the under dash in bits at both sides.
Did notice that the temp readout stays quite low even though the fan cuts in OK when she gets warm - is it likely to be the sender or the gauge?
The suspension feels a little wooly so I suspect it needs new dampers.
Its blue in colour and the Halfrauds paint stick calls it Blue Pearl I think
Thanks again - look forward to learning more from you guys
