hey guys i have a 2001 a4 tip with 136,XXX miles on the odo. about a month ago my car gave me the Red oil light... I'm away at school so i thought i'd get around to it when i got home... PROBLEM: during my absence the car was driven until the car suddenly turned off. and a ticking noise has started from the start of the car to preety much anytime. I've already changed the cam chain tensioner and roller etc. about 40,000 miles ago. Its a different kind of ticking other than the tensioner but... maybe it could be that again. I've run a search on the topic for days now looking high and low on the site but i can seem to pinpoint the problem since the explanations given vary and the answer are broad in some cases. I would appreciate the help if anyone is willing. I will be looking into looking for a shop to take it to and get it diagnosed but any help would be appreciated if i need to buy new parts so I can obtain them.
