Default A4 Speed limitation question.

One of my friends said that his BMW is electonicly limited to a certain amount of speed. I was wondering if my A4 2.8L 96' had one of those and if there was a way to remove that.

135 and if your 12v gets up that fast which i highly doubt it will your not gunna want to go any faster.... there are chips out there to remove it but i think your screwed cuz i dont know of any for the 12v just the 30v
