Here is the large problem. I would like an A4 because I live in Northen NJ and go to school in CT. Its nice for the snow and I think it is a very attractive looking car. It has good packages and is respectable by the ladies. It just plain does not have enough power. 170 is just not going to do it for me, I have about 23k to spend. What does everyone suggest doing? I would like to get an 03' A4 if I got one so I looked at an Sti but I dont want one of those either I dont think. Thanks for all of the help.

 

You can chip it for about $500 .
It will give you about 40HP & 75TQ
That will solve you power problem. You could even take it further and add a bigger turbo and exhaust

 

gte ove rthe needs to be 2003 buy a 2000-2002 s4 and chip it. THen u have a fast car! that is exalty the same look with a faster engine. Or u could just buy a 1.8T and get a K04 installed. That would be fast too.

 

u can chip the car or upgrade to a K04 turbo which is a direct bolt on but you will need programming

you can also buy the b5 S4 wit stock 250Hp then chip that car

u could get 00-02 S4, and do some mods, it will have plenty of power

 

s4 is the way 2 go

 

yeah dude if i had the money id get the s4, its still got AWD for your snow driving

 

If you have 23k to spend, you could go the route s4 with minimum mods or A4 with alot of mods... either way, your in with us.
