Uh...why not just go head to head with him and let us know what happened. That is the easiest and most accurate way to tell.

from what I've read, the V6 mustand is only 220hp with a redline around 5500. I think the redline will be his biggest enemy as a 30v V6 will go close to 7000. You have a Quattro, so I think you'll get off the line better than him. If you want, race him. My fwd passat kept up with a convertible V6 camero and their V6 is more powerful than the mustang V6. Just incentive that I feel the audi can take it.

 

The solid rear axle comment made no sense... they hook up better than independent rears, that is why mustangs make such amazing 1/4 cars... and corvettes dont. It's when corners enter the equation, that independent rear shines!

And as for the gheyness comment.. I almost 100% agree... but I still love my corvettes, and my camaro is kicking *** right now! (I never liked my trans am all that much, and it was the same year as my z28 -- goes to show how different my camaro is, from all other camaros/trans ams)

no no no no no AND no, the 99 V6 3.8l AINT NO 220hp, I OWNED ONE, meaning I had one before. IT IS 190hp and the most SORRY *** 190hp you could ever drive in your life, Ford says 190 but its drives like 150hp; AND if it's an automatic it drives like a 100hp. LIKE I SAID i OWNED a 99 for sometime.
