A4's now have more leg room?

A4's now have more leg room?
I need to make a choice within the next few days. I can't get my infant car seat to fit in the backseat of my 04 cabriolet. I've been told that the A4's now have the leg room of an A6. If this is true, does it also mean that the newer Cabriolets also have more room in the backseat?
If there is more room, do you have any idea what year this change was made? I'm about two days away from trading my beloved black Cabriolet with red leather...for a Cadillac srx
all for the sake of a few needed inches for a carseat!

I see A4 B6-B7-B8 with car seats in the back all the time. In my town starting last year we been getting a lot of B6 and B7 around town. Maybe its because there are a lot of spoiled students who go to Cornell? I could swear that I saw a A4 B7 with a car seat in the back. Cadillac SRX over AUDI? You must not absolutely love AUDi....
