i was just curious to know why a lot of people on here dont like them? i mean, personally, i think they look good, and dont get me wrong, im not trying 2 start a war here, im just curious to know why some dont like them

 

I think the reason why people hate them so much is because angel eyes arent exactly for audis there more of a BMW thing. thats y people just dont like seeing them on audis. but i guess if ur gonna look at it that way then the m3 lip spoiler is the same thing as that.

 

very good point, it seems like the people that dont like the angel eyes, dont take into account the the lip spoiler is a M3 thing.... that is if they view the angel eyes as a BMW thing only... someone mentioned a while back when i posted the pics of my car that the angel eyes were ricey.... anyone else agree with that?

 

It's a BMW thing and a lot of ricers do it. Most people on the forum like things that are unique to Audi/VW, such as the one piece euro lights, 99.5+ tail lights, RS4 body kits, etc. The M3 lip is used because it looks good and it's an exact fit. It's not some huge fugly wing that will only add weight to the back of your car.

For example: Huge *** wings, rediculous body kits, spinners, vinyl graphics, most of the crap you see in car magazines.

I always thought that Ricer was from calling a Asian car a riceburner...that's good to know, Bacon.

Angel eyes look awesome on a bmw. On an audi it seems out of place, just doesn't match the front end.
