Default About to bye a 1999 A4 1.8t...NEED HELP!!!

Ok, so I test drove the car today and I notice while I was driving it that in the middle of the message board on the instrument cluster something that looked like a valcano was flashing. I know that may sound stupid, but that is the easiest way for me to describe it. I was wondering if this is a warning lamp or possibly a service reminder. Either way it looked like maybe an over heat warningbut the temp gauge saidthe car was at normaloperating temperature. Please help me with some answers, I am new to Audi's and I don't want to get screwed. Thanks.

The volcano means low windshield washer fluid. Nothing to worry about. If it was low coolant it would show a themomator.

It's the washer fluid lv indicating it's low. If that's really the case then it's nothing to worry about, BUT, make sure that the fluid tank is NOT LEAKING. Cuz my car has the same flashing light, (just got it not long ago) thought it was just low lv fluid and didn't worry about it too much until I tried to fill it up and whatever that was filled leaked out. Still trying to figure out where it is leaking though.... so yeah, just a friendly reminder.
