Default ABS light = fuse?

I get a persistant ABS light warning alot of times. Since its been there for awhile and my mechanic still can't identify if its the module or which speed sensor it is. Would removing the ABS fuse be a good temporary fix? Any safety issuses?

ABS still will not work. Get it VAGed or buy a code reader.

I had it VAGed a few times by a shop and by the dealer. The ABS lights comes on intermitantly and when it was checked the light was not on so they can't isolate the prob. Because of this, it leads me to believe its one the the sensors and not the module. Am i right?

There are wheel sensor codes.

intermittent would send me to a loose wheel speed sensor connector or its corroded and the signal is weak, this system is like the OBD computer because it dosnt log codes ( it either has a fault or it dosnt ) and I doubt its the main ABS computer because the light would stay on all the time

I got mine off an S4. I used the instructions on that site to install and remove my ABS.

From what I've heard from users on other forums, it's a very good company.

Mine has been intermittant for a while too. About 3 to 4 months. Hope it is just the sensor and not the module. I will have it checked again soon together with my upper control arm thats making an annoying creek.......
