Hello everyone,
I am a new owner of a 2000 Audi A4 quattro, 2.8L V6 car. I dont know much about cars and I test drove it and got this car feeling that it runs good. Then, slowly something or the other turns out bad.
I changed the rear wheel bearing for $400, replaced the rack and pinion with a used one for $800, front brakes for $300 so far. After changing all this within 20 days of purchase of the car. The repair fee for the car is killing me and I thought i can come here and learn about this car so that i can try to fix the basics on my own.

for the past two days the ABS light is ON when I start the engine and then goes OFF if i start the engine the second time. It randomly pops up again while driving and goes OFF. When the ABS light is OFF while driving, i can still feel the kicking on my brake pedals when i try to brake. The weather is good here(sunny) and the roads are clean, dont know why the brakes are kicking on me. Any ideas on where to start?? or what may be the probable causes for such behavior and waht should be done and how. Please let me know, i dont think I can shell out so much money.
Can people post links for DIY manuals for this car.
