Default ABS Question

OK im thinking of taking out my ABS module and sending it somewhere to get fixed. Are there any write-ups on how to take it out? Also, will my car run without it? THanks

I would agree it sounds like the module but have a look at the thickness of the break pads and the fluid level first ( it could be telling you it needs new pads

only thing I can say is convince me the ECU is down give me the code ( considering it was ok before he did any work I presume?? ) and no CEL was on prior to the work then the job is suspect

abs light is on and break light flashing does not mean that abs module is bad. I got the same light because of front passenger sensor is bad. Vag the car first, get the code what it says before you send the module out. maybe it is just a sensor problem.

Yea get the code that says ABS module non communication or something like that. It could just be a bad/dirty wheel speed sensor. You wanna check out all the minor/inexpensive possible faults first. What is it fine before the brake job? If it is the module heres the DIY. My abs module has been faulty since May and I my ABS works fine.
