Default AC help needed please it hot out!!!!!

I have a 99 1.8t wanted to add a little Refrigerant or what ever it is, I think its 134a but there are no markings under the hood.

Also when I did my radiator I must have knocked something off or loose because the ac compressor is not kicking on, didn’t know if anyone had a similar problem my friend told me he remembered reading something like that on the forum just wanted to know where to look.

take it in to get it re-gassed these can be a complicated system if you don't know what your doing, the refrigerant is R134a but there is special oils used as well

low pressure will prevent the AC coming on its a built in safety measure to prevent damage to the compressor so probably only needs to be re-gassed

there is a duel pressure switch to the left of the radiator near the bumper area looking from the front of the car he might have pulled the wiring connector

it was the switch on the condencer, took off the passenger side light and was able to get right to the switch, I must have knocked it off when i did the radiator, oh well, just glad I didnt have to take the bumper off, not a big fan of doing that. now she blows cold as ice again..

thanks for the help... ha my boss looked at me all crazy like when i went outside during work to fix my car, I took tools out of my trunk, and went to work..lol I have OCD with my car, cant stand when **** dosent work, would have tried to fix it in the middle of the parking lot last night when i found out i had no ac.. but i had no tools and no light
