Default RE: acceleration times?

a supercarger would actually be faster than an s4 b/c an s4 is held back b/c of factory warranties and if it was a pes its probaly more efficent than audi's

Well yeah a supercharged A4 can take a stock s4, but it doesn't take much for the S4 to be modified and beat the 2.8. I don't see what warranty has to do with either of them. They are both just as likely to be under a warranty (well 2000's and up anyway).

i've driven a PES supercharged B5 2.8 and its pretty fast. iirc, it dyno'd 217whp, barely beating a stock B5 S4's whp. i like the sound of superchargers.

apg96, if you decide to get it, look up Jeff Moss @ Torque Factory. He's the guy in SoCal that everyone uses to install and tune that PES S/C kit.

http://www.torque-factory.com

They are located in West LA are a GIAC tuner. I don't know the cost of install, but give Jeff a call. He's a very knowledgable guy. He's done quite a few PES supercharger installs along with many 500hp+ B5 S4 upgrades.

A snub mount is the engines front motor mount. Replacing the factory one makes upshifts and downshifts smoother. Here's a pic of my aftermarket one (little black doughnut shaped mount in bottom left):

Spp efk = supreme power parts electric fan kit. This is used to replace the clutch fan on your car. The factory one is belt driven by the engine. Replacing the clutch fan with an electric fan is suppose to reduce the load on the engine thereby freeing up ~5-10hp.
