I just came from my mechanic and he told me that I need
new accessory belts and a "front motor mount" for my 1997
A4 Quattro. What are the accessory belts for? Anyone
have any idea how much it might cost to replace them?

you should only have i serpentine belt,i think mine was around 40 installed.front motor mount is a 10 dollar part at dealership,but they want $260 to install it. i just did my own.it was easy,if you have mech.skills.2.5 hours no rush.

 

This is usually done with the timing belt. Check if this was done.
