Advice on buying my first Audi
Hey everyone. I have used forums like this for pretty much every car I have ever owned and found them very useful with a wealth of knowledge. I'm now planning to buy an Audi A4 Avant 2.0 TDI TDV 140 S-line 57 reg.
I understand the TDV relates to a particulate filter that can clog. This obviously concerns me as I understands it's expensive to replace. Is it really that big a deal? The car I'm looking at has only done 35k and has full Audi service history so I'm guessing all will be well...
Or would I be better off getting one with an engine that does not have the TDV?
Also is there a really noticeable difference between the 140bhp engine and the 170bhp engine? I would have ideally liked the 170bhp but they seem hard to find especially in my price range which is a max of 12k
Any help and advice for this newbie would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Carl.

Not much point. Nothing special about it. Looks the same as any other lol. Can understand posting pics if I had made any changes or customizations but the car is sexy as it is. If you want to see what it looks like just do a search on google images lol.
One other question. Would someone be able to tell me as my car is a 2008 on a 57 plate does this make it a B7 model? or a B8 Model? I need to know as I want my Alpine Double Din Screen fitted and need a suitable facia.
Thanks
Thanks
