Default Advice on taking off turbo? Need help!

I am going to send my turbo to get it rebuilt. I dont have the money to get a mechanic to do it cause I know they will charge a few hundred. Would I be able to take it off my self? If so , what should I do and is it really hard? Any guidance at all will be appreciated. The company im sending it to is called majestic turbos and its located in texas. If I ship it to them overnight , they get it the next day and they can ship it the exact day because they say they can rebuild them as soon as they get them.

Any advice at all will be appreciated.

my advise is dont rebuild you ko3, get a ko4 you can find them for around 700-900 or there are a few people in some of the for sale sections selling them, dont wast your moeny on rebuilding the ko3, infact if you still want a ko3 just by a new one, it will probibly be about the same price check ebay.. look in the DIY section im almost positive there is a turbo swap gide in there, its not that hard at all you shoulb be able to do it.

Use this as a guide: http://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng27b.shtml

How much are they charging to rebuild your turbo? Ive never heard of a place that does that for less than a few hundred?
