So my 96 has been having power steering leaks for a little while now and I've stoped all but one which of course is hidden back in the engine bay, so I take it to a shop so the guy can look at it and tell me if anything major is leaking or if it's just a hose. Well... I have a wonderfully leaking Power steering rack, so...


can AF help me find some companies that sell/rebuild these things at a reasonable cost?

new, ECS tuning carries it for something like $800 after core return.

 

The dealership does sell rebuilt ones with a warranty on it, thats what I did last year.

 

most common leak is the feed pipe ( not cheap ) but east DIY ish

 

the leak is from the drivers side, I think it was the rubber bushing that goes to the shaft is basically toast, it's melted or something. I'll look into Shokan
