After a timing belt job.... is this normal?
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum, but not new to the 1.8t family...
I just had a quick question about a timing belt job i performed on a 98 aeb quattro. After the job, the timing marks are half a tooth off.
I also remember this happening to my old 98 passat and everyone on the forums mentioned that it was normal. I drove the car for a few years and never caused a problem.
Now i want to double check again with you guys to make sure this is normal or not.
I ordered all the parts from ECStuning.
Let me know.
Thanks guys,
JOHN
