I am looking for an aftermarket intake for my 2000 A4 1.8T. what are your reccomendations?

I like dahlbacks stuff just cause there a very very reputable company. You do know your paying 200 for an intake sound and no performance gains right?

 

i thought it gives u hp gains?

 

Our motors produce ALOT of heat under the hood therefore heatsoak is a huge issue especially when an open air intake is added on. Performance wont drop you may get alittle more response out of the motor but nothing more than a nice sound.

 

yea i think you should just save the money buy a k&n do the air box mod and spend the $200 on something worth while
