Default Aftermarket part help

Mkay.

Should I waste money on a Chip.
Or should I just get the 3" exhaust and keep it, since i'm going to need it for my BT anyways.
Would it be okay having a 3" exhaust on a k03? i'm thinking i won't get too little back pressure.

So yeah, i'm having a hard time deciding if i want to get a chip to play along with for 2-3 months, or if i should just go and buy what i want and not junk. thats what my friend told me.

I want to get the hks carbon ti muffler with 3" piping and a testpipe.

I just don't know which one i should do since it's going to be acouple months before i do some real modding.

thanks!!

how soon until you go BT? cause your gona have to get a new chip with your new setup. probly your best bet is to go with a REVO chip, so you can upgrade to revo bt software later and get a discount.

you can put a 3" exhaust on now. with turbo setups you cant really have too little backpressure.

if your going BT in the next couple months just get the exhaust. if your not going BT for like a year+, then i would go ahead and get a chip

I'm pretty sure if you got a GIACchip (maybe APR too)they will reflash it for free when you upgrade your turbo. The consensus on here seems to be chip first then go bt afterwards.

I'm planning to get the turbo kit that comes with free software and TP injectors etc.

I'm planning to go BT in the next 2-5 months, Depending on my spending habbits XD.

Should I get an exhaust first or should I go ahead and go with a BT kit?

i would get a unitronic chip since you have a B5, revo has no bt file for the b5.

then u can upgrade to the bt file once you buy your turbo, and unitronic has the best bt file for the b5 anyway.

im a firm believer in prepping a car BEFORE you go BT. you paid alot of money on the setup, why run it at levels below what it is capable of? so i would say get the exhaust first, then BT. or you could just run open dp after installing the BT setup, and get the exhaust after, but your car would be loud as hell.

I'm planning to get the turbo kit that comes with free software and TP injectors etc.
your not talking bout the kit that comes with Mika software right?
