Today on my way to pick up my pizza I got a warning alarm and a picture that looked sort of like this

hard to draw...sort of like two double helix formations connecting at an angle?

on the dashboard...I have NO clue what it could be? Can anyone help? And no...I do not have an owner's manual or I would have looked there first.

 

Lets start with your cars year and engine size. Is it actually a CEL or just that shape that you saw. If it is actually a CEL (little engine symble) then you can take it by somewhere like autozone and have them scan it, then we can better determine what it is.

 

ohh sorry...well my cars stats should be in my sig..but its a 2000 1.8tm FWD

and its just a sign...i guess its not an actually a CEL.

It shows up in the same spot that the window wiper fluid shortage sign shows, and it looks like the picture above.

Would that be a burned out bulb sign? I think that's what it looks like, although the picture looks like something from my 3 year olds coloring book. I'd check to see if there is a bulb out. Hey, why not look in your owners manual.

 

He said he didn't have an owners manual... I looked in mine and I saw nothing that looks like that picture you drew

it could be a burned out bulb sign? one of my foglights is out but both my headlights are OK...

and sorry for the poor drawing, but that is really what it looks like...two spirals that connect at the top.

I had a burned out bulb..and it looked nothing like that...mine was a burned out tail light

 

well what does a burnt out bulb signal look like?

there are so many dead pixels on my dumb lcd screen that it probably is supposed to look completely different.
