AIR BAG Warning Light
Hey, while changing the ignition switch on my 1998 A4 I had to take off the steering wheel.
It's back on but now the AIR BAG light is on. I assume this is because I unplugged it (had to...). And the computer still gives me the same error numbers.
How can I reset the Air Bag light and the computer codes?
Thanks.

usually the reason you get the light is because you disconnect the airbag and turn the key on, its highly advised that you disconnect the battery before performing any work on the airbags (ie disconnecting them) once the computer recognized that the airbag isnt there it trips the light on because the cars ECU thinks that there is a problem with them. If you disconnect the battery to try and ratify this problem, i would leave it disconnected for roughly 20-30 minutes. Just make sure you have your Radio Code before you do this
