Why would a passenger side air bag pop with being in an car crash?
i was just driving late at night and it pop. it cut and brused my friends arm. does anybody know why or how an air bag just pop?

 

No, but it shouldn't do this. Assuming this is in the US, Complain to Audi of America, and report it to the National highway traffic safety administration, which tracks safety related complaints on cars.

 

its an '98 A4 quattro 1.8T, and i got it 3 months ago from a used dealership. im sure it doesnt have any waranty left and i dont want pay for something i didnt cause. i took pics of my friends injuries with my phone.
what do u guys recom. i should do or who should i call?
