Airconditioning on B6 2003 A4
car just got PDI inspection - passed it all.
It's an 03 with 12k miles - Tried to use A/C yesterday - all hot air.
Figure its empty freeon? Is this normal for an 03? My dad's car is 8 years old and freeon's still full ...
how much should dealer charged you?
If its a leaking hose they said it's covered

Well dealer said if hoses are leaking etc then it's covered - but he said it might be fine and just need the coolant recharged *shrug* - all I know is that it's pretty f*cking annoying without AC
Good lord, go to walmart, buy the recharge kit and charge it yourself. Takes $15 and 5 minutes. The plug in port is next to the battery. Charge it to 30 psi. Make sure you get the oil/r-134a/stop-leak all in one can with a gauge on it.
Yeah - that's my next question - where is the goddamn port in an B6 a4? - can anyone take a picture for me?
Here's my plan
Dealer said he's fix hoses if it leaks
I figure I'll recharge this POS and then have dealer check and then have them top it off
FYI - the can with the gauge is $25 at autozone

hey, recharge it, dont recharge it, do whatever you want its your car. im just telling you, i charged mine, it blows ice cold now. ive charged every other vehicle ive owned and it worked great for years on those cars. know-it-alls make it sound all complicated. its really not just dont over charge it. thats where the damage comes from.
