Hey hows it going everyone, first time poster, just got a 1997 a4 1.8t

I read this thread about increasing the antenna range,

but the wire is not there on the 97 a4. I read somewhere that the wire is under the back seat but I'm not 100% sure which wire it is under the back seat. if someone could give me a heads up it would be great, the 5 foot unlock range is killing me. thanks

 

i think there is a write up on another forum for doing it.. it involves moving it from under the back seat, to inside the c pillar

 

I was actually just wondering which wire it is exactly lol, can't seem to pick the write one and none are standing out clearly

 

some person said that he had no wire and he just stuck a wire into the antenna gromit and that worked fine
