for some reason my alarm doesnt make any noise. everything else works, lock, unluck, trunk, even panic button works lights flashing and SILENCE. have no clue where to find alarm horn to test if it works, but if itsgood,how do i trouble shoot the wiring?

PS: searched forum,didnt find any info

 

Its at the left rear quarterpanel (in the trunk to the left) behind the interior trim.

 

thanks i'll check it there, my trunk is all open anyways cuz write up on how to install sups and amp doesnt work on B6

 

does anybody know how/where to trouble shoot the wires?

 

connect it to the battery to see if actual horn works, i don’t see y would you have problems with wiring, on other hand could be rats, some third world hungry termites??

Mine was silent too..I just fixed it and noticed there was some wire back there that wasnt plugged into anything..i think it was a few wires wrapped up in some sticky black stuff that had an end like something that would go into a computer, but i dont knwo what it was or where it goes..anyone have an idea?

 

might be because ur hood is open! happened to me.

 

On B6 its actually on the right side, lol i spent half and hour looking around left side of the trunk. its on the right bottom corner look like a lil square box. Mine had fried wires, so i opened it and there was some kinda motherboard with two huge batteries. Its crazy how audi makes everything so complicated
