All B5 models with 19" wheels...

What are your tire setting suggestions?

Im picking up some 19's today (19x8.5)...what tire settings should I go with?

235/35/19 or 225/35/19 I went with the 235 and they look great! Sometimes in this forum it is faster to use the search function

like beer mod i have 235/35/19's on my wheels.

they are NOKIAN NRY tyres which came with the RS6 replicas i bought. the wheels are 19x8, and fit a treat.

 

i just ordered some 19's but i went with 225/35/19

 

Depending on how wide you went with your wheels d_maniac...that might not have been a good choice

 

the wheels are 19x8.5 tire size 225/35/19 will the 225 235 make a difference?

 

I just odered some 19 by 8.5 and got 235 on them. You'll be stretching the tire, but some people like that...but i'd rather not ride on the side wall

 

the 225 on 35 profile cant take as much load as the 235.. i think 88 load rating compared to 91? The load rating of a standard wheel is 600kg usually (90) but im not sure if ur wheels do get hurt by going under the min load rating.. anyone?

 

Also, while some people do like the look of stretched tires, it's just plain unsafe. A little stretch is okay, I guess, but it technically makes it more unsafe. If the tire is being stretched, that means that the edges of the tread are going to wear more heavily than the center of the tread. Uneven tread wear is something to be avoided.
