also you can goto ebay, type in car,goto ebay stores on left of screen ,see what parts you can find there.i hope i didnt do a no no there,audi forums has stores also in the sponsors section.

i have an 0455 but never a 1426.leaks can be in a few places.thanks for schem. avant80.maybe they will help me w/mine.

i changed my purge valve a year ago.try tapping on it w/finger, with car running,see if it makes your car do the shakes.gotta go for now .ill check later.

Okay... if they want 115 bucks of labour to install spark plugs, then yes, tell that dealer to go to hell. I don't even need to look at the rest of your invoice to guess that they are likely overcharging on everything else... because like already mentioned... changing the plugs is a 10 - 20 minute job.

P1 codes are manufacturer codes where P0 are generic in this case the P1426 is the cause of the other code

lol, i love when people bitch about the dealer, everything is flat rate for replacement, and 115 bux sounds like there hourly rate, looks like they charged you 1.5 hours for diagnositc which is pretty normal and then they just going outta book on all the other items like any other dealer does, so no the dealer is not ripping you off as in comparison to any other dealer unless u find one with a lower hourly rate then theyll prolly wanna charge you diagnostic again, i would say however you can do most that work yourself its all fairly easy, just the way the flat rate pay system works you get ripped off. but for people like me we love it!

thanks for the 0455 sheet.i know the culprit is prob. a hose,but there are so many,like under both rear wheelwell skirts,and a purge valve line goes into pass. fender.it' just which one is it?
