on the stock k03 turbo it can handle 20-23psi consistantly/reliably. There is no chip out there that is designed to put out more than 20ish psi so there's not a whole lot to worry about. The only other way to up the boost higher than that is to get a manual boost controler which isnt recomended at all.

oh good point... i dunno.
If thats the case then I guess we will just have to wait for Jeff to chime in about when he ran 40psi and it was all good.

I wouldn know, i just installed my boost gauge and im trying to figure out how to read it myself. Does anybody know what its supposed to be? right now with car running its at about 20Hg and in first gear i dont get past 0psi but in second when i floor it it sometimes hits 8psi but then drops right down to 5psi and after that it just wont go past 5 psi, is that normal?

Sounds about right except for no boost in 1st gear.. Where did you hook up your gauge line to? I think a consistant 8ish psi is normal for stock with spikes around 10psi now that i think about it... Your vac. # sounds right at 20 though.

yeah, i think i hit like 3psi ONE time in first gear and it is 5psi consistantly when i have pedal to the medal and when i let go of gas it will go to 25Hg and then back to 20Hg, so for stock i should spike 10 then huh, could it be diverter valve? i think it still has the stock one on. but yeah, in first gear it really wont go past 0psi.
