Hi, I am new to the forum and have enjoyed browsing. I searched and read a few airbag light Q and As. I have a 2000 A4 and the airbag light came on this AM after it sat overnight in single didget temparatures. Two specific questions:
1) If this light is on that does that mean all the airbags are undeployable in the event of an accident? and;
2) If this is an issue related to the cold, will the light go off if it senses that there is not a problem or will it stay on until it is reset manually?

Trying to figure out if I should "wait it out" a while or take it in.
