Another n00b question. Is it normal for the 1.8T to run a litle warm?

Default Another n00b question. Is it normal for the 1.8T to run a litle warm?

My Temp guage is sitting at right in the middle. No real change, just sits at the middle.
Is it normal for these cars to run this warm?

Hey
I have a 2003 APR chipped 1.8T .
I had some problems with my temp gauge running off the carts.
It would read 130 Degrees sometimes.
Then I brought it to my dealer and they replaced my whole cluster.

Actually most temperature guages are designed to park at 12 o'clock over a relatively wide range of temperatures.
