Another one of those...what to look out for threads
I test drove my first Audi today, an '01 A4 1.8T Quattro. I was very impressed, although the day before I had just test driven a '01 Saab Aero, which has 250hp, so it wasn't quite as peppy, but I LOVED the interior of the Audi. This particular one has 58,000 miles and is going for $14,900. Does this seem reasonable to everyone? It's the absolute cheapest I can find within 300 miles on autotrader without giving up the AWD option. I live in Utah so that is very important to me. The Saab is only $1000 more, and has about the same amount of miles. Think I should just go with that?

Got my 2001 A4 1.8t for 12,300 with 47k miles. Car is in very near perfect condition and had the 17' Audi 5 spokes and HIDs too. Not sure if there's a difference because you live in Utah but I live in Miami and cars go for a lot here. Here's the one I bought -----> http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...sp=y&cardist=5

IdrunkI,
That is strange...the only difference I can see is the one I'm looking at is AWD, but yours has 10,000 less miles so I'd think that would make up for it. Maybe because of the snowy weather they're in high demand here. I can find a 2 wheel drive for that same price, possibly a bit cheaper. Do you guys think the AWD is worth it?

If it snows where you live, AWD would be perfect. Here in Florida, i'll never need it. Go for the AWD one but try to knock at least 750 off that price. You don't really need AWD but for snow, it will help a lot. If you want me to run a CARFAX, you can instant message me at 'Mallen1554'. I'll run the carfax since I have unlimited searches and you can see the history of the car before you buy. Good luck.

Saabs are good cars. Based on the Vauxhall/Opel Vectra chassis, its a decent car! One of the more reliable manufacturers! Don't let the GM part put you off!
(Still rather have an audi though!)
